Your data, in plain language
AFTERARC is an iPhone game created by Pranav Garg. This policy explains what stays on your device, what may leave it, and the choices available to you.
What the game handles
| Data | Why | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Settings, saved progress, discoveries, recent runs, scores, Run codes, and a resumable checkpoint | To remember preferences, restore play, show records, and unlock content | Locally in the app on your device |
| Gameplay events such as run and wave boundaries, score, duration, builds, routes, damage totals, Blast use, pickups, service outcomes, whether a recovery was used, and optional per-impression ad-revenue values by format and placement | To balance the game, understand play, improve reliability, and measure aggregate ad performance | Google Analytics for Firebase while “Share gameplay and crash data” is enabled |
| Crash and diagnostic information, including app/device details, crash traces, and sanitized error messages | To find and fix crashes and defects | Firebase Crashlytics when collection is enabled by the app and your gameplay-and-crash-data choice |
| Ad request and interaction information, which may include IP address, general location inferred from IP, device or app identifiers, ad impressions, clicks, and diagnostics | To request, deliver, measure, limit, and protect rewarded, pause-banner, results-banner, and between-run ads | Google Mobile Ads and its advertising partners, according to the privacy choices shown for your region |
| App Store product, verified purchase entitlement, and purchase measurement | To remove ads and restore the purchase | Verified on-device through Apple StoreKit. When gameplay data sharing is enabled, Firebase receives the verified purchase transaction to measure purchase value and currency. Payment-card and banking details stay with Apple |
| Eligible score and Game Center player identity | To submit and display leaderboard scores when you choose Game Center | Processed by Apple through Game Center |
| Email address and message contents | To answer support or privacy requests | Received only when you contact us |
AFTERARC does not ask for your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise GPS location. It does not require an account. Run codes, ad clicks, and advertising IDs are not included in app-defined gameplay or ad-revenue telemetry. Verified App Store transaction information is sent separately through Firebase’s purchase-measurement API while sharing is enabled. Restoring an existing entitlement is not counted as a new sale. While gameplay and crash data sharing is enabled, the app may send a bounded paid value, currency, precision, format, and placement for an ad impression so we can review aggregate ad performance; this is not a financial account or player identifier. Firebase may associate optional analytics and crash data with app-instance, installation, session, device, or app identifiers managed by its SDKs.
Your choices
- Gameplay and crash data: sharing is on for new installations. Any previously saved off choice is respected. Change “Share gameplay and crash data” in Settings at any time. Turning it off stops new app-defined events and error submissions; information already sent cannot be recalled.
- Ad choices: use Settings > Ad Choices to review or change the choices provided for your region. The game checks regional consent and Apple’s tracking-permission decision before requesting an ad. Non-owners may see a banner on the pause screen or on the results screen after a run ends, or an interstitial at a deliberate break between runs, subject to your privacy choices, provider availability, and cooldown.
- Apple tracking permission: the game asks for permission before advertising services can track activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you allow it, these services may use the advertising identifier to personalize and measure ads. Declining does not stop you playing. You can change this permission in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Ad delivery still depends on regional choices and provider availability.
- Rewarded recovery: watching an ad for one recovery after a lost run is optional. Choose Continue, or Rewind when a wave-start checkpoint is available; either choice spends the run’s single recovery. You can end the run and start another without watching one.
- Remove Ads: the optional one-time purchase removes in-game ads and makes the one shared recovery per run ad-free: choose Continue, or Rewind when eligible. Restore Purchases checks the Apple Account entitlement. The price shown by the App Store is localized for your storefront.
- Game Center: signing in and using the leaderboard is your choice. Apple controls Game Center identity, visibility, and records.
- Local game data: deleting the app removes its local settings, history, Run codes, progression, and checkpoint. Offloading the app keeps its documents and data for a later reinstall.
AFTERARC has no separate player account or cloud-save service. Optional analytics, crash, and advertising services can use app-instance, installation, or device identifiers. AFTERARC does not attach your name or email to those events, but providers can use these identifiers to distinguish an app installation or device.

Retention and security
Local game data remains on your device until the app clears it or you delete the app. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, protect the service, or meet legal obligations. Google and Apple set retention periods for information processed by their services.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Children
The game is not designed to collect a child’s name, contact details, or precise location. If a child sends personal information through support, a parent or guardian can email us so we can review and delete it where applicable.
International processing

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, investigate abuse or fraud, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.
Your rights and contact
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of personal information we control, or to object to certain processing. You can withdraw optional gameplay analytics and crash-reporting consent in Settings and change available advertising choices in Ad Choices.
